BUYER GUIDE / 01
What to include in a packaging inquiry
A useful brief begins with the product you are packing, dimensions, target quantity and destination country. Add any handling needs, preferred thickness, artwork and delivery deadline.
Ask the supplier to state material composition, tolerances, packing method, sampling terms, MOQ and delivery assumptions in the quotation. Keep your approved sample and written specifications together.
CUSTOMIZATION / 02
Prepare your artwork for custom printing
Provide your logo in a vector format when available, together with color references, print dimensions and placement. Specify whether artwork appears on one or both sides, and flag barcodes or small text that need careful reproduction.
Confirm a proof or sample before production. Printing options depend on the selected material, bag structure and order quantity.
GLOBAL PROCUREMENT / 03
Plan the details before your first export order
Agree on the destination, delivery terms, packing labels and documents with your supplier. Confirm who is responsible for transport, customs clearance and local handling.
Request documentation for the exact product and intended market. Environmental and food-contact claims should match the supplied item and supporting reports, rather than a general supplier statement.
